Fennec Fox—Milwaukee County Zoo, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
This is the first shot on JHillmer.com that was not taken in the wild. This fox is at the Milwaukee County Zoo, behind a glass enclosure, in a dark nocturnal room. It's a parent of two kits born in 2012. I decided to post it here, for the artistic perspective, not from the perspective of it being an animal that I sought out, found, and captured with a camera. Yes, the ISO was 6400, and this was hand-held at 1/13th of a second, no flash
